Tucker University - Square Squared and Little Houses

Welcome to Tucker University!

This is a year long program we will be doing to introduce you to new tools and patterns that are versatile and can be used to create different quilts in all various block sizes and quilt sizes. It is a series of technique classes for quilters to build their skills and improve their piecing. Each course is 4 hours long, and will provide you the knowledge in creating basic quilt block units without the obligation of having to create a full quilt top. We provide all the instruction materials for each class, for both right-handed and left-handed quilters.

1-401 Square Squared and Little Houses

The Square Squared unit can be found within blocks as well as sashing. Since this unit is often used to connect other units, the points are extremely valuable for the design to work without interruption. A secondary benefit to using Deb Tucker's method of creating Square Squared units is that you will not waste fabric. It's a win-win-situation.

Expand the use of your Square Squared tool by learning how to make little houses. Little houses have been disguised in borders and have shown up in some star blocks. You wll be astounded where these units show up.
