Foundations in Quilting
The morning before class starts, you can come early and get help with picking out your fabrics. You will learn how to properly line up your fabric and cut it into the pieces you need. You will be cutting squares and triangles. You will also sew together some of your blocks, and learn how to make your corners match up perfectly.
Supplies:
Fabric - Quilting Cotton
2 yards green or medium value
1 yard white or light value fabric
1 yard red or dark value fabric
Scissors
Rotary Cutter
Cutting Mat (optional, some cutting stations will be provided)
6 inch x 24 inch Quilting Ruler
6 inch x 12 inch Quilting Ruler
Chalk Fabric marking pen
Thread
Pins
Sewing machine
Quarter inch foot
