By The Sea Coaster Embroidery Class

In this class you will learn how to stablize, hoop, and embroider this set of 4 coasters that depict a pretty group of shells and sea life.  The coral in the background is stitched, while the shells, seahorse, and starfish are appliqued in the hoop.  Come join us even if you don't have an embroidery machine, you can use one of ours for free.  Plus, if you decide you can't leave without the machine you used, we'll give you a good price.

Supplies:

1/3 yard fabric for background and backing
1/8 yard fabric for applique shapes (or various fabrics)
1/4 yard fusible fleece
light weight fusible web (Steam-a-Seam II or Hotfix)
mesh cutaway stabilizer (like OESD Poly Mesh)
Medium weight tearaway stabilizer (like OESD Fusible Tearaway)
Embroidery thread to coordinate
Embroidery Needles 80/12 Sharp
Embroidery Machine if you have one (or use ours)
Basic embroidery supplies (scissors, thread snips, duck billed
                                       scissors, paper tape or tear away
                                       tape, etc.)
