Beginner Piecing and Quilting Class

This class is designed for the beginner student who is just starting out learning how to make a quilt.  In the class, we will discuss notions that will be helpful for creating your quilt and future projects.  You will learn how to read a quilt pattern and cut the material using a rotary cutter, mat and quilting ruler.  We will show you how to sew an accurate quarter inch seam, and tips and tricks to get pieced corners to match together.  After your quilt top is complete, we will discuss the many different ways to put together your quilt with the top, backing, and batting, and then you will choose one of those methods to start putting together your finished quilt.
