A Letter to our Customers
about our Reopening
We have had more than our fair share of problems with remodeling, but the end of renovation of our upstairs area will soon be done. No, we don't have a date, yet; we will definitely let you know ASAP about the date when we find out ourselves. All I can tell you is that you will not recognize it as the same place as before. That is the good thing about all of this angst.
When we move things upstairs, we will still be unable to fully open, as our downstairs area also needs to be brought up to code with electric, lights and AC. That means we may not be fully reopened until the end of the year. We are sorry about that, but if any of you have done renovations on your homes you know it involves a lot of give and take. The upside is once all is done, there will be full handicap accessibility to the upstairs and downstairs areas, bathrooms and back door entrance. We are also working on getting a sign for both sides of the building to make it easier to find us.
While you are patiently waiting, we need some help:
If you want to work part-time, we have need of you. Days available are Monday - Saturday, times TBD. Sewing experience is a MUST. Experience using Bernina sewing machines will be a PLUS. Familiarity with computers is a MUST for our check out system. Knowledge of social media platforms is also helpful, but we will train you in both. We are also in need of at least one person who speaks Spanish fluently for some of our customers who only speak Spanish.
If interested, please contact us through email@example.com with your contact information.
If you are available to sew samples, we have several options at your disposal. Samples will need to be presented so we can see that you are an experienced sewist. If interested, please contact us through firstname.lastname@example.org with your contact information.
If you are an experienced sewist and are interested in teaching classes, we also need you. This position will not be available until the classroom is ready, but we are collecting applications now. We will need more than one teacher so we can provide a wide variety of classes. Samples will need to be presented. Experience with Bernina sewing machines is highly recommended and will be a PLUS. Familiarity with computers is a MUST. Fluency in Spanish is also a PLUS. If interested, please contact us through email@example.com with your contact information.
All in all, it has been an interesting (and frustrating) year. We hope to be open for holiday shopping, but who knows!
Have a safe and wonderful Halloween!
